Task actions
The patrol compares the current house with its normal state. Look across the halls before choosing a response; a single remembered image cannot rule out another room's anomaly. The attic transition follows the accepted patrol.
- Listen to the maid in the Servant's Room and inspect the estate halls.
- Ring the bell for a shadow, missing pet, damaged picture, or open door. Extinguish a candle when the inspection finds nothing abnormal.
- Complete three correct responses consecutively, then find William and speak until he hands over the walking stick.
- Use that stick on the hatch above Aldous's bedroom and climb into the attic.
