Task actions
The middle tool kit follows current official instructions and corroborating footage where an older independent guide differs. The entrance statue's time is collected outside the passages. Use the final door's placement order, rather than the order in which clues were discovered.
- Inspect the entrance statue for 5:00. Choose the left kit: spade, magnet, matches.
- Pull the mouse-hole key with the magnet, dig the buried box, and unlock it for a torch. Mount and light the torch, then note 8:00.
- Choose corkscrew, bottle, matches for the middle. Open the barrel, fill the bottle with oil, and ignite the barrel spill.
- Pour oil into the rock opening and ignite again. Continue to the 10:00 clue.
- Take hook, weight, sledgehammer for the right. Hang the weight from the hooked ring to raise the gate, then break the weak pillar.
- Apply the watches at the final statues as 5:00, 8:00, 10:00 from left to right. Take the book through the door and give it to Aldous.
