Servant of the Lake Tea and Matcha Video Guide

Serving Matcha Latte

Give tea leaves to Rustie, collect the resulting green powder from the hallway crate, and add that powder to Alexandra’s tea. This optional action belongs to the Day 1 Serving Tea task. The sources establish the ingredient chain, but they do not establish that matcha can only be served in a second cup.

Obtain the extra ingredient

Keep the tea leaves available for Rustie before finishing the task. Give them to the cat, then inspect the hallway crate for green powder. The cat interaction and the crate collection are separate steps: having tea leaves in inventory alone does not put the powder into Alexandra’s drink.

Prepare Alexandra’s drink

Gather a cup and the ordinary tea ingredients: tea, hot water, milk, and sugar. Follow Alexandra’s current request when deciding which regular ingredients to add. Her instructions change during the task, so a recipe copied from an earlier request may no longer satisfy the current one.

Add the green powder to her tea and serve it. Watch for the Serving Matcha Latte achievement notification; the powder’s presence in the hallway or in inventory is not the same as completing its use in the cup.

If Alexandra breaks the cup, restore the pieces and use the sticky substance to glue it together before continuing the tea service. That repair belongs to the ordinary task progression. It is not evidence of a special prerequisite that requires an accepted plain cup before matcha.

Serving Tea and Serving Matcha Latte are separate checklist outcomes. Continue following Alexandra’s requests to complete the story task even if the bonus achievement has already appeared. Conversely, an accepted ordinary drink does not prove the powder action was registered.

Recover a missed achievement

Check the ingredient chain first: Rustie must receive the tea leaves, the powder must be collected from the crate, and it must be used in Alexandra’s tea. If the main story is already finished, the developer says missed achievements can be revisited using the Notebook. Replay the relevant task and perform the bonus action; resetting the entire save is unnecessary.
