Servant of the Lake Clock Puzzle Settings
Match Aldous's alarm, William's bedroom clock, and the cellar statue door to their distinct main-story clues.
Main-Story Clock Settings by Task
Match the time to the room before turning a clock. Aldous’s bedside alarm, William’s grandfather clock, and the three-statue cellar door are separate puzzles; reusing one setting in another scene will not advance the task.

Aldous’s alarm: 7:00
During Waking Up Aldous, open the bed curtains and take the clock hand from the soldier. Install it on the alarm and set 7:00; Aldous wakes, which opens the shave and breakfast sequence.
William’s clock: 9:00
During Waking up William, search the wardrobe clothes for the pocket watch first. It gives the bedroom clock’s setting: 9:00. The clock then opens its lower object-placement box, which uses the family portrait rather than another time.
🔍 Enlarge ClueCellar statue door: 5:00, 8:00, 10:00
In Inspecting the Cellar, collect three clues: the entrance statue gives 5:00, the left passage gives 8:00, and the middle passage gives 10:00. The right passage opens the final route to the door; put the timepieces on the three statues from left to right as 5:00, 8:00, and 10:00.
🔍 Enlarge ClueThe post-game secret route has its own alarm clue and is not part of these main-story settings. If Kate’s post-game letter is the active task, follow the separate secret-ending route so its clue is not confused with Aldous’s ordinary morning alarm.
Before changing the hands, match the visible prop to its task: soldier and bedside alarm, wardrobe watch and grandfather clock, or three timepieces and cave statues. Each value advances only its matching scene; it is not a general time-setting rule for the estate.
