◈ VIDEO WALKTHROUGH

Servant of the Lake Harp Video Guide

Count the harp strings from your side and mirror Alexandra's four phrases, separate from William's changing notes.

Alexandra’s Harp Sequence

After the main course in Serving Dinner, stand at Alexandra’s harp and mirror her prompts across the instrument. Number the strings from left to right before entering the four runs.

  1. 1, 1, 1
  1. 3, 2, 1
  1. 1, 5, 1, 3
  1. 5, 4, 3, 1, 2

Keep the four phrases separate. Their lengths are three, three, four, and five taps; the first repeats one string three times. Count from your side of the harp, then mirror the pattern Alexandra has just played instead of reading the strings from her viewpoint.

The responses are accepted when Alexandra finishes her phrase and dinner proceeds to dessert. The official sequence and the independent route agree on the four runs.

Do not reuse this list for William’s song. His notes fall toward a glass along paths that change as they descend; catch them based on the current single- or double-note movement. That dinner puzzle is a live reaction task, not another fixed melody.

If a phrase is not accepted, check that you began at string one on your side and waited for Alexandra’s next prompt before entering the next group. The sources give the accepted runs but do not document a universal retry timing window.

Read the sequence as four responses

The numbers identify strings, not musical note names. The first phrase stays on string one; the second descends from three to one. The third returns to one between strings five and three, while the last uses five different positions. These observations come directly from the accepted lists above and help keep your place without treating all fifteen taps as one uninterrupted input.

This guide begins at Alexandra’s instrument during Serving Dinner. It does not replace the preceding food service or William’s song interaction. If you have not reached the harp prompt yet, continue the dinner task until Alexandra asks you to mirror her. When the harp response is accepted, continue the meal rather than entering the four phrases again.
